DONATION OF HANDWASHING FACILITIES

Ever since the start of the pandemic, Ilocos Norte Water District, in line with its Corporate Social Responsibility, the District has donated portable handwashing facilities thru the Water, Sanitation and Hygine (WASH) Program to various beneficiaries within the service area of INWD. This project is one of the important part of the District’s Gender and Development (GAD) projects. This project started in 2020 (the onset of the current pandemic) up until today.

 

 

Multiple schools, barangay halls and organizations such as Philippine Red Cross – Ilocos Norte Chapter Office, DPWH Bureau of Equipment Quarantine Facility (under the PGIN’s supervision), Balatong Integrated School, Plaridel Elementary School, Barit Elementary School, Cataban Elementary School, Caoacan Integrated School, Gabaldon Elem School, Brgy. 21 Day Care Center, Brgy. 44 Zamboanga Day Care Center and Barangay Halls at Brgy. 29 , Brgy. 27 and Brgy. 43 Cavit also benefited from this project.

 

The District believes that with the simple act of promoting proper handwashing, we can help prevent the spread of diseases.

In line with our mission to provide Ilocos Norte with adequate, safe and potable water service 24 hours a day at the most reasonable cost, we encourage everyone to report pipeline leakages in your respective areas. Please help us identify service line or distribution line leaks no matter how simple or severe it may be.

If you happen to spot a water leak, please report to us so we can fix it at the soonest time possible. To bring these pipeline leakages to our attention, you can contact PrimeWater-Ilocos Norte via:
